Playing With Your Favorite Songs

JamKazam has built a huge catalog of 4,000+ popular songs (we call these songs JamTracks) across a wide variety of musical genres and artists. When you don’t have a band ready to go, you can use JamTracks to play and/or sing along with your favorite artists and songs on any instrument, with tons of controls to do it just the way you want to:

• JamTracks are recorded as multitracks, which means that each part of the song is recorded separately – for example, on a rock song, there would typically be parts for lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, drums, keys, lead vocal, and backing vocal.
• Use our Windows or Mac apps, iOS app, or even just your web browser to work with JamTracks.
• Solo an individual part to hear it distinctly, listen to its nuances, and learn and play along with that part. For example, if you play the bass, you can listen to just the bass part and play along with that part of the song.
• Mute an individual part to play with the rest of the band, without playing over the top of another player. For example, if you play the bass, once you’ve learned the bass part for the song, you can mute the bass track and play the bass part with the rest of the band.
• Slow down playback of any custom mix to practice at slower speeds as you work up to play at full tempo.
• Change the pitch of the song up or down to move it into a different key or to put it into a range where you can more easily sing along.
• Download all the individual parts of the song to make your own custom mixes.
• Use the JamKazam Windows or Mac apps to easily capture audio-only or video + audio recordings of your performances.
• Use the JamKazam Windows or Mac apps to play along with JamTracks with other musicians live and in sync in online sessions from home.
